Description: The United Heart honours one of the core activities of the United Nations: maintaining international peace and creating conditions that favour lasting peace. It recognizes that the result of this mission of peace brings prosperity to humanity.  The United Heart is formed from a cluster of 193 polished stainless steel components representing the unity of the 193 member states of the United Nations. The heart is a visual metaphor that represents the universal symbol recognized in every culture for peace and life.
